General MBSR Course Information


The MBSR course has been taught for over 30 years in many countries around the world. Thousands of people have learnt tools and ways to support their wellbeing, reduce stress and cultivate their ability to be in life with greater ease and care for themselves and others.

To offer the greatest benefit to each individual participant, courses are limited to 12-14 participants. Each weekly session is a balance of theory and guided practice. The workbook, weekly handouts and additional resources support learning. The day long intensive does not have a theoretical component but is a day of being introduced to new and deepening familiar mindfulness practices.

No prior knowledge or experience is required. If you have an established mindfulness or meditation practice the course will add to your existing practice.


Please note

Please be aware that the courses are no "group therapy".

Due to its significant practice demands some of these course is not suitable for persons who are currently experiencing severe depression or other severe mental health conditions or for individuals with current substance abuse issues. if you are currently under the care of a mental health care practitioner or GP you might want to discuss participation in this course with them prior to enrolling.
